EFFECTIVE MONDAY APRIL 27, elective surgeries in Arkansas will resume. Only day surgery at first with no
overnight stays. Must be tested for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to surgery and be symptom free, no underlying conditions and no contact with COVID-19 positive individuals.

Governor Hutchinson has created the Governor’s COVID-19 Testing Working Group to make recommendations to expand the capacity and performance of COVID-19 testing in the state. The working group will meet virtually for the first time at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday).
